Below, we explain which cookies and similar technologies are used by the renggli.pl website and how you can manage them. We have prepared this document in accordance with the Act of 12 July 2024 on Electronic Communications (hereinafter: PKE) and the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR).
The website is operated by RENGGLI Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, ul. Handlowa 6A, 15-399 Białystok, NIP: 5423234535, REGON: 200818266, KRS: 0000485655, email: biuro@renggli.pl, telephone: +48 85 710 18 77. The rules governing the processing of personal data are set out in our Privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) when you use websites. In addition to cookies, websites use similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works in the same way: it stores information on your device and retrieves it on your next visit.
In accordance with Article 399 of the PKE, storing information on your device and accessing it requires your consent, unless it is necessary for the provision of the service you are using. Therefore, we store essential cookies without asking for your consent, and we only store and read other cookies once you have given your consent.
What types of cookies do we use?
We always store essential cookies. Cookies of the analytics tools (PostHog, Google Analytics) are only saved in your browser once you click ‘Accept all’ or enable the ‘Analytics’ category in the banner settings, and cookies of the marketing tools (Google Ads) once you click ‘Accept all’ or enable the ‘Marketing’ category. Without your consent, only tools that store nothing on your device are active (we describe them below). The table below lists all cookies and similar technologies that the website stores or that may be stored in connection with your use of the website.

Essential cookies
Without them, the website will not function as you would expect: it will not remember your chosen language, energy-saving mode, the list of products in your quote enquiry or your decision regarding the cookie banner. We store them pursuant to Article 399(3) of the PKE, without seeking consent, and we do not use them to create any profile.
Local storage: Your choice from the banner
We store the decision made in the cookie banner in your browser’s local storage, under the key renggli-cookie-consent, together with the date, the banner version and a random browser identifier. This ensures that the banner does not ask the same question every time you visit the site, and you can check and change your selection at any time.
We also record every decision, including a refusal, a change of mind and closing the banner, in the consent register in the website’s database: the browser identifier, your choice in the ‘Analytics’ and ‘Marketing’ categories, the type of decision, the banner version, the language and page address, and the time. The register contains no IP address or other data from which you could be identified. We use it to demonstrate that consent was given or withdrawn, as required by the GDPR and Google’s consent rules. The details are set out in the Privacy policy.
Google map on the Contact page
On the ‘Contact’ page, we embed an interactive map showing how to get to our head office. The map loads automatically along with the page, and the legal basis for this is our legitimate interest, namely to indicate the location of our head office to people planning to visit us (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Once the map has loaded, Google, as the provider of this service, may access information about your device, including your IP address, and set its own cookies in accordance with its own policies. We do not set these cookies ourselves and have no control over their names or lifespan; they are described in Google’s Cookie Policy. If you do not wish the map to load, block third-party cookies in your browser settings or object to this processing by writing to biuro@renggli.pl.
Analytics and marketing tools
We use tools that show how visitors use the website and which advertising campaigns bring in quote enquiries. Without your consent, including before you make a decision in the banner, they only run in a mode in which they store nothing on your device. We only store the cookies marked in the table as analytics cookies once you have consented to the ‘Analytics’ category, and those marked as marketing cookies once you have consented to the ‘Marketing’ category. Which personal data we process in this context, on what legal basis and for how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy policy.
Statistics without cookies
In its cookie-free mode, PostHog counts page views, navigation between pages, clicks on buttons and links, text copied from the page, page errors and the page or campaign a visit came from. Page views from a single day are linked by a hash that PostHog calculates on its servers from the IP address and browser data together with a random value that changes daily and is deleted once that day’s events have been processed. The IP address is discarded before the event is saved, no personal profile is created and we do not record sessions. On the following day, the same browser counts as a new visitor.
Ahrefs Web Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics count page views and where visits come from, reading the page address, the referring page, the type of device and browser, the language and the country determined from the IP address. Cloudflare also measures how quickly pages load. Their scripts do not store cookies or anything else in the browser’s storage. Ahrefs links page views from a single day with a similar hash based on a random value that changes daily and, according to its own assurances, does not store IP addresses; according to its own assurances, Cloudflare does not recognise individual visitors.
We run these three tools without asking for your consent because they store nothing on your device. The legal basis and your right to object are described in the Privacy policy.
PostHog with your consent
After you click ‘Accept all’ or enable the ‘Analytics’ category, PostHog stores the cookies listed in the table and recognises your browser on subsequent visits. It also records the course of your visit: cursor movements, clicks, scrolling and the appearance of the page, what you type into form fields (except passwords), technical browser messages, and the content and headers of requests sent by the page, including the content of a submitted form. Recordings are deleted after 30 days. If you send a quote enquiry, we link the history of your visits to the data from the form. Your browser sends data to PostHog through our domain (renggli.pl/ingest), and PostHog stores it in a data centre in Frankfurt.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
We use Google Tag Manager to run Google tags: Google Analytics (visitor statistics) and Google Ads (conversion tracking, i.e. checking whether a visit from an advert ended with an enquiry, and remarketing). The tags work in Google Consent Mode and treat consent as refused by default. Google Analytics stores cookies once you consent to the ‘Analytics’ category, and Google Ads once you consent to the ‘Marketing’ category. Until you consent to a given category, the tags neither store nor read its cookies, and Google only receives cookieless signals: the time, browser data, the referring page, the consent status and whether the visit came from an advert, without the click identifier. So that advert measurement works without cookies, the tags may then add information about the advert click to the addresses of subsequent pages of the website. Once you consent, Google tags store the cookies listed in the table. How Google uses this data is described on the page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Cookie banner and changing your preferences
On your first visit, we display a banner with information about cookies. You can click ‘Accept all’, keep only essential cookies with the ‘Essential only’ button, or open the settings and decide separately on the ‘Analytics’ and ‘Marketing’ categories. Closing the banner has the same effect as ‘Essential only’. Until you decide, we store only essential cookies, and the analytics tools run only in the cookie-free mode described above.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the Cookie settings link in the website footer. The banner will reopen with your saved settings. After you withdraw your consent, we delete the PostHog cookies and the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies stored on the website’s domain from your browser, and Google tags stop storing and reading their cookies. You can delete cookies that Google stored on its own domains in your browser settings. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew your consent.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Regardless of the banner, you can also manage your cookie settings in your browser: you can block or delete stored cookies, restrict the use of local storage, or disable third-party cookies. The procedure varies depending on the browser; you can find instructions in its help section (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others). Please note that clearing your browser data will also delete your selection from the banner, so we will ask you to select again on your next visit. Blocking essential files may prevent the website from opening in your most recently selected language or from remembering the list of products in your quote enquiry, whilst blocking third-party files will prevent the directions map from being displayed.
Changes to the cookie policy
We update this document whenever there are changes to the regulations, the way the website operates, or the set of technologies used. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the last update is stated at the top of the page. You can find out more about the processing of personal data at Privacy policy, whilst the terms of use for the website are set out at Terms of service.
